Run, don’t walk, to enjoy ‘The Art of the Brick.’ This exhibit is touring the world and has now arrived at the Faneuil Hall Museum in Quincy Market.
Created by NYC-based artist Nathan Sawaya, the exhibit features art that is made…as you might have predicted….out of Lego. Sawaya’s sculptures use Lego bricks to bring all sorts of designs to life. You can’t play with his exhibits, but you can marvel at the time, creativity and energy that each sculpture has taken him.
The exhibit officially opens today and the tour is expected to remain in Boston until January 11, 2015 when it will then move to Alaska. Assuming you don’t want to trek to Alaska to look at Lego, you just might want to catch it now.
As the Lego website says, the exhibit is a place “Where kids are welcome, but not required.”
