The Pavilion of Art and Design, more often referred to as PAD, has been thrilling art collectors and interior designers with its eclectic mix of fine art and decorative art since its founding in 2007. This popular art fair takes place each year in the month of October in Berkeley Square, in the heart of London’s Mayfair district.

This year PAD will feature 62 prestigious galleries exhibiting their wares in such specialty niches as contemporary ceramics, modern art, photography and much more. The Magen H Gallery will display its fine selection of 20th century concepts in design; rare jewelry and gemstones will be offered by Siegelson; eye-catching objets d’art of the 1930s, 40s and 50s will be on display courtesy of Gordon Watson.

Speaking of objets d’art from the past, Phoenix Ancient Art, which participated in PAD for the first time last year, will show off select pieces of quite old artifacts from their extensive collection. Explaining why PAD is the perfect place for Phoenix Ancient Art to exhibit, Director Ali Aboutaam says it is because PAD “is the most ‘object-oriented’ show, with several dealers in antiquities, tribal art and Pre-Columbian art, balanced with other fine and decorative arts.”

This year’s PAD London will run from October 14-18, 2015.
